On January 11, 2017, the Tulsa City Council approved the resolution adopting the revisions of the Unified Design Guidelines for Historic Preservation Overlay Districts. The revisions became effective on February 22, 2017. On December 20, 2023, the Tulsa City Council approved revisions to the non-residential guidelines addressing projects in city parks. Those revisions became effective on February 6, 2024. Please contact TPC Staff for any assistance with interpretation of the guidelines. Note the site of the Council Oak Tree and Stickball Park are protected by an overlay with its own specific set of design guidelines.
