Tulsa Preservation Commission Members

The Tulsa Preservation Commission is a fifteen-member board of the City of Tulsa. Its membership is designed to reflect a broad variety of professional interests and specialties, such as architecture, real estate, finance, and history, and to balance those interests with the needs of Tulsa’s historic neighborhoods and landmarks.

Professional and neighborhood representatives are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. Ex-officio members are appointed by their respective commissions. Commissioners serve staggered three-year terms and attend several meetings each month, in addition to training and subcommittee commitments.

If you are interested in serving on the Tulsa Preservation Commission, please review our prospective member flyer and contact the Mayor’s Office at (918) 596-2100 or email boards@cityoftulsa.org. You must be a resident of the City of Tulsa and meet professional or neighborhood residency requirements. A demonstrated interest in preserving Tulsa’s cultural and historical resources for the benefit of the greater community is essential.
